Today I went to the grocery store and for the first time brought reusable bags with me. I only have 4 so the rest of my groceries had to go in plastic bags. We do reuse the plastic bags for taking our lunch to work and for sorting. It was nice to not use so many plastic bags. I think that I will eventually buy some more reusable bags and switch over completely. I just need to remember to keep them in my car.

It was the same story for me when I started to bring my reusable bags to do groceries. Once it becomes a habit, it gets easier. Right now, bringing my own tupperware out to dinner in case there are leftovers (more often than not) is hard to remember. Going out to eat is sometimes just a spontaneous decision when you're tired or feeling a wee bit lazy. I guess having back-ups in the car are really the best way to go. :)
