Marc & I went to the Farmer's Market yesterday & got organic tangerines, tangelos, and asparagus. It was a beautiful day and I couldn't resist a chocolate croissant again. We spent Saturday afternoon sorting through our recyclable cans, plastics, and tins, and were rewarded with over $100 at the recycling center! I continue to go to the library to get my books instead of buying them to save both money & paper. When I'm done with my magazines, I'll either give them to my friends or donate them to the library. It seems like such a waste for only 1 person to read 1 magazine--let's spread the love in a magazine!

  1. Cooool, which Recycling Center did you guys go to? Do they pay you by the pound? ...hmmm...i've never done that before.

I went to the Farmer's Market on Sunday too... bought some chard, an array of squash, white zucchini, sourdough bread, sweet potato, cauliflower, and some lamb. Sunday was just too beautiful.

Yes, I'm one of those fortunate people that has received your generous donation of magazines....I was just reading your Real Simple magazine the other day.

  2. We go to AMI recycling center by our house or in Santa Clara. Yep, they pay by the pound. Aluminum can and CRV plastic are the most worthy.

Guess what? I'm getting Martha Stewart Living now...it took me a day to figure out where the heck the subsciption came from. I think I got it free for ordering something on Vista print. Anyway, I think you like that mag so I'll save for you if you want. :)
